Don and Co were fantastic, we had an over nighter and were blown away by these of "home" this venue had. Priced precisely in my opinion with every you need for a few nights away or in Durban. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends!

Such a lovely place to stay! Looks just like the photos, actually it's better in person. The hosts, Don and Barbara, were amazing. They made us feel at home and their hospitality was second to none.

Definitely going back!
10/10 would recommend.

Stayed there for 2 nights while on a business trip. The place has an african charm. I loved the balcony and the host is welcoming with a lovely sense of humor.

Acorn bed and breakfast was by far worst place I stayed. There was no service at all. I have not seen one person other than another couple that stayed there. The room had no shower. The towels need some stay soft. I paid for bed and breakfast but we didn't get breakfast even after calling the guy we made reservations with. He asked us to leave the key on the shelf at the gate. As for parking we had no parking on the premises. I wouldn't stay there again.

Exquisite guest house set in a lush environment, well maintained, warm and friendly atmosphere, the rooms are spacious, neat, tidy and clean. The wifi works great. I would highly recommend this guest house. Thanks to Don and Barbera I'll most certainly be back when I'm in Durban again. Oh yes... and the breakfast is just what you need to get your day started. I stayed at the Acorn B&B for 2 weeks and I would highly recommend this B&B. You are centrally located, it is a quiet environment to work and the staff and Owner Don are exceptionally. There are a variety of rooms to choose from with safe & secure parking and the aircon is awesome to counter the summer heat. Don caters to your every need, you just have to ask. Great stay, will definitely go back.

Acorn B&B is an amazing place to stay. The owner Don, always cracking up a joke or two and very helpful and accommodating. On our last evening we had a braai hosted by Don and his lovely wife and had so much fun. Definitely returning to Acorn B&B when I'm in Durban. Thanks for your hospitality Don, top notch👌👌

Great stay in Durban. Don, our host, was great! He is a Durban expert and is full of useful information and tidbits. His venue is wonderful and very comfortable. When it comes to breakfast preparations, his cooking was wonderful and oatmeal the best. We stayed four nights and experienced his kindness and generosity throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay again if we return to Durban.

Great B&B in Durban Dons a very personable host with a friendly B&B. Quaint but comfortable with flat-screen and wifi. Garden and small pool landscaped well. Host prepared breakfast was always good. Very knowledgeable of Durban and South Africa and gave us great advice on places to go. Located near area attractions like the Botanic Garden and close to local malls and dining.

A home away from home. My stay was most amazing. The management was very welcoming, kind and easy to talk to. The property is very secure, guaranteed privacy and peace of mind. My take away experience was when I came back from town with melted ice cream, which unfortunately couldn't fit in guest's reserved fridge, but Mr Don was kind enough to allow me to use his personal fridge without any hustle. I highly recommend this accommodation and I'm definitely booking there again next time I go down to Durban. Highest praise.
